What do you like most about being a photographer?

I like the interaction with my subjects and the feeling that it's not so much getting a photo taken as it is both of us creating a moment.

What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

I think it's important for the client to know that the session doesn't end when the camera is put away. There are many hours, sorting, editing and enhancing photos after the session has ended that make the perfect image.

Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

While I can do all types of work, I specialize in portrait and headshot images. I also do pet portraiture (I love that) and commercial photography (products, food, etc)

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Find someone you click with. Personalities matter when photographing portraits and headshots. It's a more intimate experience and you really need to be comfortable with your photographer. If you're not, it will show in the final images.
